Today's purchases + what I wore

I'm really into salmon.  Eating it and wearing it.  So I treated myself to some salmon accessories today, and a totally unrelated iphone case purchase because I'm impulsive and love giraffes.  So there.

Spring Fashion: Jumpsuits

Lately my really big and important STYLE has been side-tracked by a little thing called life.  The past few weeks I've committed fashion suicide by wearing purely circumstantial outfits, with no proof of real effort.  This saddens me, yet I still feel no motivation to change my ways.

Enter Spring jumpsuits and rompers to get me through this funk in style.  One piece of clothing and I'm out the door.  They are so fun, stylish, and comfortable;  I see myself reverting back to 9 years old when I didn't take off my purple headband for a year straight.  Someone's going to have to forcefully unzip me!

Perfect Beach Waves

Every time I style my hair I try to get closer and closer to achieving those elusive "perfect beach waves".  This is currently the only way I wear my hair. There are several ways to accomplish this;  Everyone seems to have their own favorite way for what works for their hair-  I've copied the methods seen in various online tutorials and was left with an 80's perm, so there is definitely not one universal method. 

I just prefer the method that I haven't burned myself doing.  Yet.

Sultra "bombshell" one inch curling wand available at Sephora.  Start halfway down the hair shaft in small sections, alternating curling toward and away from your face.

^ This is my absolute favorite beach waves look.  Her hair color and everything is perfect!

Paris Wanderlust

I'm planning a fashionable Paris Vacation in October for my 30th 25th birthday.  I am so excited to wear amazing clothes I can't wear here in LA because sweats and yoga leggings are the standard....if you look the slightest bit dressed up people stare at you like, she thinks she's so hot.  Meanwhile their private parts are discernible through their spandex and they think that's hot?! 

I'm also starting a list and a savings account for the glorious shopping spree to be had.  At the top of the list is a Chanel quilted handbag.  Probably black.  I've been lusting after it for years and think I could justify the cost (too much) if it was a "souvenir" from Paris.  Even though I could totally go get one here and be back in 45 minutes.
