I am not selling you Perrier in these pictures.  I am tricking you into thinking I am so that you subconsciously look at my accessories!  I thought it would be fun to do some modeling with my new best friend, Grapefruit Perrier.  The bottle is so pretty it was begging for a photo opp. 

Seriously though, is that how advertising works?  When someone is obviously trying to sell you something, it is off putting.  So I wonder if they distract us with something so blatant we look the other way at the real thing they are trying to sell...  like at the grocery store, the aisles are filled with sale signs and price reductions that are obviously gimmicky so you know you don't need the products. Yet when you get to the checkout you find all the most delectable and tempting creations sitting quietly, not asking for a dime.  This, my friends, is where you splurge.

Speaking of grocery stores, I received a compliment on my new Joie perfume today in Whole Foods.  That made me happy.  It was from a man who allegedly wanted to buy it for his mom.  It is a sad day when you wear a new perfume and no one comments, no?

Spring Fashion: Jumpsuits

Lately my really big and important STYLE has been side-tracked by a little thing called life.  The past few weeks I've committed fashion suicide by wearing purely circumstantial outfits, with no proof of real effort.  This saddens me, yet I still feel no motivation to change my ways.

Enter Spring jumpsuits and rompers to get me through this funk in style.  One piece of clothing and I'm out the door.  They are so fun, stylish, and comfortable;  I see myself reverting back to 9 years old when I didn't take off my purple headband for a year straight.  Someone's going to have to forcefully unzip me!

Rude Awakening

So I had the pleasure of carrying this beautisimous salmon-colored Proenza Schouler ps1 bag in my dream last night, just to wake up empty handed.  Tell me you know that feeling!  So bummed.  I never have good dreams, but last night was AMAZING.  I was wearing all the clothes I have saved in my favorites bar from online stores!  I also changed into a bikini at some point and had a supermodel body.  Are you there God?  It's me, Natalie.  That was a mean trick.

I blame my sister for this because she was looking at the bag online last night and lusting after this particular color...
